business of Australian architect Peter Johns who works in the areas of architecture, digital design and journalism.

The website grew out of a personal attempt to organise the architectural sites which he used while conducting his business.

 It includes the work of invited artists, as well as essays and other writings. Image and Text is the initiative of New Zealand artist Jim Allen, who led Elam's sculpture department in the 1970s and was a prime mover in the development of post-object art in New Zealand.  

RAIA Hook Addresses

Each year the Royal Australian Institute of Architects awards a gold medal in recognition of distinguished architectural service.

That recipient then gives the annual 'AS Hook Address' (named after RAIA founding architect Alfred Samuel Hook) in which they speak about their life and work and the current state of architecture. Gold medal recipients include the 2002 Pritzker Prize winner Glenn Murcutt.
